Municipal Mayor and City Council Candidates ONLY
For all municipal candidates, all disclosures must be submitted to your local municipal clerk by 5pm. Failure to do so will result in a $50 fine.

Requirements of Reports
Requirements may differ if specified by municipal ordinance
- Contributions - date, amount, and name of donor (if known)
- In-kind contributions - date, market value, description of in-kind contribution, name of donor (if know)
- Expenditures - date, amount, name of recipient
If a candidate receives less that $500 and makes less than $500 in expenditures, the candidate may report the total amount without itemizations. If the candidate receives or spends more than $500, all contributions and expenditures must be itemized.
County and Local School Board Candidates ONLY
For County and Local School Board candidates, all disclosures must be submitted to Utah County's NEW disclosure email: disclosures@utahcounty.gov by 11:59pm on the date specified below.
If you are a current county or school board officer, the first financial disclosure that you file in 2025 must include all of the required information since your last financial disclosure was filed.

*Failure to file these financial disclosures will result in you being eliminated from the election ballot.
As an unaffiliated candidate, you are entitled to all the rights and subject to all the regulations and penalties of political party candidates. Your name will be printed on the ballot accompanied by a note stating that you are not affiliated with a political party.
Filing Period: June 2 to June 6, 2025.
- For U.S. Congress, State Senate, State House and county offices: signatures of 300 or 5% of registered voters who reside within the office’s district, whichever is less.
- Signatures must be submitted and verified BEFORE declaring candidacy. (Utah Code §20A-9-502)
