All disclosures must be submitted to Utah County's NEW disclosure email: disclosures@utahcounty.gov by 11:59pm on the date specified below. 

 

If you are a current county or school board officer, the first financial disclosure that you file in 2024 must include all of the required information since your last financial disclosure was filed.

As an unaffiliated candidate, you are entitled to all the rights and subject to all the regulations and penalties of political party candidates. Your name will be printed on the ballot accompanied by a note stating that you are not affiliated with a political party.

 

Filing Deadline: June 18, 2024, at 5:00pm

 

  • For U.S. Congress, State Senate, State House and county offices: signatures of 300 or 5% of registered voters who reside within the office’s district, whichever is less.
    • Signatures must be submitted and verified BEFORE declaring candidacy. (Utah Code §20A-9-502)

Any justice or judge of a court of record or any justice court judge who wishes to retain office shall, in the year they are subject to retention, file a declaration of candidacy during the filing period and pay the filing fee. (Utah Code 20A-12-201)

As a write-in candidate, your name does not appear on the ballot. Voters must write or type your name on the write-in line for a vote to count.

 

To become a write-in candidate, you must declare candidacy with the correct filing office by 5:00pm on Tuesday, September 3, 2024 and pay the associated filing fee.
